Give kids
physical control
of their media

Jellybox lets children scan RFID tags to play movies, music, and shows from your Jellyfin server — no apps, no passwords, no rabbit holes.

Link your Jellyfin server

Connect securely to any Jellyfin instance. Browse your full library and choose playback clients.

Assign RFID tags

Map physical RFID tags to any movie, show, album, or playlist in your library. One scan, instant playback.

Manage multiple devices

One account, many rooms. Each Jellybox device gets its own API key and default playback client.

Pluggable providers

An open HTTP contract lets you write extensions for any media source — no upstream changes needed. Self-host extensions as sidecars; they never have to be public.

Everything you need, in your pocket

Pair devices, browse your library, and print sticker sheets — all from a phone-first dashboard.

One-time setup

Plug in your Jellyfin server

Drop in your server URL and API token once. Credentials are encrypted at rest and the dashboard takes care of everything else — libraries, sessions and playback clients.

Open source

Fully self-hostable

Jellybox is open source. Run the server on your own infrastructure and build the hardware yourself — everything you need is on GitHub.
